The soltrackr companion fastens to a key ring for easy access. The companion captures and transmits the data to a smartphone app where users can then retrieve the information. Soltrackr’s health and environmental apps include:
- solcalm – Provides stress level based on heart rate variability. Measures heart rate and blood oxygen levels to record improvements in cardiovascular fitness and observe how your body is recovering from working out.
- solbalance – Measures the sun’s UV rays and delivers personalized feedback for safe time in the sun. Users can determine the estimated time before getting a sunburn, which SPF sunscreen to apply, and Vitamin D level they are receiving.
Soltrackr also includes solsearch (key finder) and solselfie (smartphone remote shutter) utility apps. These apps are free and will be available soon at both the App Store and Google Play Store. Complete SDK and support material will be available to qualified developers and additional apps will be added in the future. The soltrackr companion is available exclusively on the soltrackr website and will begin shipping in June 2016.
