SANTA CLARA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aviatrix Systems, a pioneer in cloud native networking, today announced the appointment of Steven Mih as chief executive officer. A technology veteran and evangelist, Mih will lead Aviatrix into its next phase of growth, building on the momentum of the company’s recent GA launch and a $10M Series A funding round led by Ignition Partners and Formation 8 announced in September 2015.
Mih most recently served as the SVP of worldwide field operations at Mesosphere, starting in early 2015. Prior to Mesosphere, Mih served as the SVP of worldwide sales at Couchbase, the fastest growing startup in the NoSQL database field. Joining Couchbase as an early employee and the company’s first business hire, Mih was responsible for securing initial strategic multimillion-dollar customers and scaling the sales organization. He earlier served as the vice president of worldwide sales for Transitive, which was acquired by IBM in 2008. Mih holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of California, San Diego.
