Buildium Wins Two 2016 Stevie® Awards for Sales & Customer Service

Property Management Solution Provider Recognized for Contact Center and Customer Service Excellence

BOSTON--()--Buildium, the property management solution for real estate professionals, today announced it has been awarded two 2016 Stevie® Awards for “Contact Center of the Year” and “Best Use of Technology in Customer Service” in the tenth annual Stevie Awards for Sales & Customer Service. This is the third year in a row that Buildium has won a Stevie Award.

Buildium was awarded a Silver Stevie Award in the “Contact Center of the Year” category for its superior work in its call center, where a 25-person team provides phone support Monday through Friday, answers support tickets 365 days-a-year and handles an average of 5,150 calls, 3,320 tickets and 600 emails per month. Buildium also won a Bronze Stevie Award in the “Best Use of Technology in Customer Service” category. The company transformed its system – from one that required the use of three different platforms for customer support via phone, support tickets and email, to one consolidated platform that allows the customer service team to more quickly and efficiently handle customer issues.

The Stevie Awards for Sales & Customer Service are the world’s top sales awards, business development awards, contact center awards, and customer service awards. The Stevie Awards organizes several of the world’s leading business awards shows including the prestigious American Business AwardsSM and International Business AwardsSM.

Over 2,100 nominations from organizations of all sizes and in virtually every industry were evaluated in this year’s competition, an increase of 11% over 2015. Finalists were determined by the average scores of 115 professionals worldwide, acting as preliminary judges. More than 60 members of several specialized judging committees determined the Gold, Silver and Bronze Stevie Award placements from among the Finalists during final judging earlier this month.

In 2015, Buildium’s Jeana Pondelli won the “Young Customer Service Professional of the Year - Computer Software and Services” award and the company won in the “Contact Center of the Year” category. In 2014, Buildium first won an award in the “Best Use of Technology in Customer Service” and “Customer Service Department of the Year- Computer Software” categories.
