SANTA CLARA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--SCAN Health Plan announced today that Physicians Medical Group of San Jose (PMGSJ) has joined the health plan’s provider network, effective January 1, 2016. As a result, SCAN members in Santa Clara County will have access to an expanded network of primary care and specialty physicians.

Physicians Medical Group of San Jose is an independent group of more than 230 primary care and 650 specialist physicians that has been serving the South Bay for more than 35 years. PMGSJ’s physicians collectively speak more than 30 languages and dialects including Spanish, Vietnamese, Chinese (Cantonese, Mandarin and other dialects), Tagalog, Hindi, Korean, Farsi and Urdu.
