Steven Chiang Appointed Executive Vice President, Worldwide Production and Studios, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment

BURBANK, Calif.--()--Games industry leader Steven Chiang has been named Executive Vice President, Worldwide Production and Studios, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, it was announced today by David Haddad, President, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment.

Reporting to Haddad, Chiang will oversee the company’s development capabilities to deliver games based on multiple franchises across all platforms. In his position, he will be responsible for the entire production process for all core console and free-to-play mobile games, including working closely with Warner Bros. owned internal studios, as well as managing the external studios, quality assurance and localization. Chiang’s role will also be to help develop the company’s slate of games and commercial strategies in the evolving marketplace. Additionally, he will work across multiple divisions of Warner Bros. and Time Warner to identify opportunities to develop different properties in the games space.

Most recently, Chiang served as Studio President at leading social game developer Zynga, where he led free play game development on iOS, Android and Facebook. Prior to that, he served as Senior Vice President at Electronic Arts overseeing global product development within the EA SPORTS label.

Chiang began his career as a software engineer and then co-founded Tiburon Entertainment, which was acquired by Electronic Arts in 1998. He holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from Columbia University.
