PALO ALTO, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--JEM Consulting, LLC (http://JEM.consulting), a new Silicon Valley-based consulting firm dedicated to helping organizations gain competitive advantage through the use of digital technologies, launched today.
JEM Consulting’s services include digital strategy and transformation programs; digital marketing and sales programs brought to life through web, mobile, social, and ecommerce; and online community and social intranet initiatives. In addition, JEM works with its clients to develop Digital Centers of Excellence, provides digital due diligence for mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and interim chief digital officer (CDO) services. Through its partner network, the firm provides brand strategy, design, social selling enablement, and communications services.
The firm was founded by Jen McClure, a strategic and visionary leader with a deep understanding of how to transform businesses through digital and social media strategies. Prior to founding JEM, McClure was vice president of digital and social media at Thomson Reuters, where she founded the company’s Digital Center of Excellence. She was chief marketing officer of Redwood Collaborative Media. She held marketing and communications roles at Ziff-Davis and Ketchum Public Relations, and has led other consulting firms. McClure co-founded and serves as president of the board of directors of the Society for New Communications Research, a nonprofit research foundation and think tank focused on the latest developments in digital, mobile and social media and their impact on business, culture, and society. She served on the Social Media Advisory Council of the UN’s Population Fund (UNFPA), and was an Advisory Board member of the Future Arts & Media Node of the Millennium Project. McClure received her B.A. from Sarah Lawrence College and her Master’s degree from Stanford University.
“Digital and social technologies are fundamentally changing the way business gets done. I founded JEM Consulting to help companies improve the way they do business, using digital technologies to improve the customer experience and gain greater efficiency, effectiveness, and bottom line results,” says McClure. “We aren’t just focused on the front-end strategy work and providing advice on what our clients should do. We are dedicated to helping them get it done by building partnerships with our clients to define a vision, goals, strategy and an action plan. We will work closely with them to design and execute successful systems, programs and deploy technologies; maximize skills and capabilities; and evaluate and measure results for continuous improvement.”
