- Real-Time, Agentless Antivirus & Malware Detection: Real-time, agentless active antivirus detection eliminates the need to install resource-consuming agents on each VM. By integrating into the Hyper-V Virtual Switch, all inbound and outbound network and storage traffic is filtered and analyzed by 5nine Cloud Security. By matching the traffic patterns to signatures provided by industry leaders Kaspersky or ThreatTrack Vipre, as soon as a VM receives a virus or malware file via the HTTP protocol, system administrators receive an instant email alert so they can perform the necessary remediation actions.
- Delivering Security as a Service with the new Azure Pack Extension: The solution now supports Azure Pack (WAP) with the brand new 5nine Cloud Security Azure Pack Extension. As the only security solution for Azure Pack, it allows tenants to manage virtual firewall configurations and enable intrusion detection system (IDS) to protect their VMs. It also allows hosting providers to guarantee higher levels of business continuity and reliability for their customers by offering Security as a Service, which can be monetized as a value-added service.
