STILLWATER, Minn.--()--Cub® Foods, a trusted hometown resource for fresh, quality foods, is offering customers an innovative, tech-savvy way to save money with the launch of its new digital couponing program.

Encouraging customers to “stop clipping and start clicking,” the program allows MY CUB REWARDSmembers to load valuable digital coupons available on Cub.com or the Cub Foods mobile app directly to their loyalty card to take advantage of savings on a wide variety of products throughout the store, including fresh produce, meats and seafood, and much more.

Once members have loaded the digital coupons to their cards, they can use the card at the register. The coupons they loaded will automatically apply to their purchase with one swipe of the card, saving time for customers and cashiers who traditionally scan physical paper coupons one by one. Savings will be printed on the customer’s receipt.

The Cub Foods mobile app and digital coupon features are also compatible with iPhone, including in Passbook, and Android devices. It is available for free download in the iTunes App Store and Android Market.

“We’re excited about the opportunity to enhance the Cub Foods shopping experience with this new digital couponing program,” said Mike Stigers, president of Cub Foods. “The load-to-card system will provide our valued customers with a convenient new way to save on fresh, quality food, whether they’re planning their grocery list at home or using our mobile app on the go.”

To load digital coupons to their MY CUB REWARDS card, customers may visit Cub.com and log in to their account. If they do not have an active account, shoppers may register for the reward program on the website or in person at any Cub location.

Once logged in, users may access dozens of discounted items through the site’s Coupons or Weekly Ad Specials sections. By simply selecting a sale item and clicking the “Save to My Card” button, coupons will be instantly linked to their card for convenient in-store savings. Members can even create custom shopping lists featuring discounted items that sync with the card.

Cub fans away from their home computer or laptop can still load discounts to their rewards card with the Cub Foods mobile app through its eCoupons or Weekly Ad function. While the new program gives customers an innovative new way to coupon, traditional paper coupons will still be available in-store and delivered directly to consumers each week.
