SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Volta Industries LLC (Volta) today announced it has opened its new office headquarters in San Francisco, as the company continues to expand operations through key North American markets. The office is at 144 King Street, in the heart of the SoMa district. Volta operates the Volta Network, the largest network of free-to-use electric vehicle (EV) charging stations nationwide, with 50 free EV charging stations in California, Arizona, and Hawaii.

The office launch coincides with the growth of Volta’s staff, which now totals 10 full-time employees.
“It’s a large space for a reason – we’re looking for more people to join our team,” Mercer said. “In the past year, we have doubled the number of employees and our staff will continue to increase as we launch formally in California and begin to offer our free charging stations to EV drivers across the West Coast.”
Located across the famed AT&T Park, the headquarters include 4,000 square feet of office and workshop space with an EV charging station in the parking lot allowing employees and guests to charge their vehicles.
