Landmark Apartment Trust of America Relocates Corporate Headquarters

New Headquarters Located in Tampa, Fla.

Company to Maintain Satellite Offices in Richmond, Va. And Jupiter Fla.

TAMPA, Fla.--()--Landmark Apartment Trust of America, Inc. (the “Company), a multifamily real estate investment trust (REIT) with assets located in select metropolitan areas throughout the Southern United States, today announced the relocation of its corporate headquarters to 3505 E. Frontage Rd., Ste. 150 in Tampa, Fla. as of January 22. The Company’s previous headquarters were located in Richmond, Va., where it will retain a satellite office, in addition to a second satellite office in Jupiter Fla.

Landmark Apartment Trust, which has been actively acquiring apartment communities throughout the Sunbelt, has continued to successfully execute its growth strategy, resulting in the need to add staff and expand its office space. Furthermore, the Company believes having corporate offices closer to the majority of its assets, many of which are located in Tampa and other Florida metropolitan markets, will facilitate operations.
