Lithium Honored as One of the Best Places to Work in 2014 with Glassdoor Employees’ Choice Award

SAN FRANCISCO--()--Lithium Technologies, the leader in Social Customer Experience, today announced that it has been recognized with a Glassdoor Employees’ Choice Award as one of the best places to work in 2014. The recognition reflects Lithium’s commitment to excellence for both customers and employees.

Lithium was selected as one of the top medium-sized companies in the Glassdoor Employee Choice Awards that rely solely on the input of employees who elect to provide feedback on their jobs, work environments and companies via Glassdoor’s anonymous online company review survey.

“This award acknowledges that Lithium has created a culture that draws the industry’s most passionate and committed professionals to help our customers succeed,” Lithium President and Chief Executive Officer Rob Tarkoff said. “We’re committed to assembling the best talent possible at Lithium. It’s great to see this success affirmed through this employees’ choice award.”

The award adds to a host of significant accomplishments and recognition for Lithium in 2013 that included relocating to a new world-class headquarters in San Francisco, more than doubling its size to accommodate Lithium’s growth and ability to attract key talent from across the Bay Area. Lithium has continued to strengthen its leadership team through the addition of key industry heavyweights with deep consumer Web and technology experience – such as Chief Product Officer and former Yahoo! executive Tapan Bhat – who inspire employees to take customer success personally.

Additional 2013 highlights for Lithium include, among numerous others:

“Glassdoor is working to create greater workplace transparency and is committed to helping people find jobs they love,” Glassdoor CEO and Co-founder Robert Hohman said. “Through the Employees’ Choice Awards, we aim to highlight those employers that excel in keeping employees satisfied and engaged.”

Methodology

The Glassdoor company review survey includes both quantitative and qualitative questions designed to capture a genuine and authentic inside look at what it’s like to work at particular jobs and companies. The survey asks employees to rate their satisfaction with the company overall, and key workplace factors like career opportunities, compensation and benefits, work/life balance, senior management, as well as culture and values. In addition, employees are asked to describe the best reasons to work at their company as well as any downsides.

The 50 Best Places to Work are determined using company reviews shared by U.S. based employees who elected to participate in the survey between November 14, 2012 and November 12, 2013. To be considered for the Best Places to Work list, a company must have at least 1,000 or more employees and have received at least 50 approved company reviews during the window of eligibility. The final list is compiled based on Glassdoor’s proprietary algorithm, and takes into account quantity, quality and consistency of reviews.
