To raise funds for worldwide testing and treatment for HIV/AIDS and celebrate the AIDS Healthcare Foundation-presented LA Fashion Week show of the Tumbler & Tipsy fashion line by Michael Kuluva, the Sunset Boulevard location of the Foundation’s Out of the Closet Thrift Store chain will be hosting an in-store media event on MONDAY, OCTOBER 14 from 6 – 9 PM, where attendees are encouraged to donate items to the store for a chance to win VIP tickets to the October 15 Tumbler & Tipsy Show at Project Ethos to be held at Avalon Hollywood.

After drinks, dancing, and a meet and greet, Kuluva will announce the winner of the two VIP Project Ethos passes at the event. The nonprofit also partnered with Kuluva for the Tumbler & Tipsy show at New York Fashion Week in September, which resulted in over 80 items being donated to the thrift store’s Brooklyn location. Celebrity guests at the New York show included Heatherette designer Richie Rich, three-time US national figure skating champion Johnny Weir and musical artist Baby Daddy of the Scissor Sisters, and celebrity blogger Perez Hilton and Real Housewives of Atlanta cast member Brielle Zolciak both strutted down the runway in Kuluva’s colorful, sparkly, and cheeky designs.

"It's so important for everyone to know about HIV and be aware about the cause,” Kuluva told reporters on the New York show’s red carpet. “Out of the Closet and AHF are super, super diligent about making everything happen here in the United States and in over 28 other countries. It's so exciting."

There are currently 22 Out of the Closet locations in the United States with stores in California, Florida, and New York, which also offer free walk-in HIV testing. There is also one Out of the Closet location outside of the United States, located in Amsterdam. The newest Out of the Closet store is opening in Columbus, Ohio on October 19.
