Barefoot Earns 10th Consecutive “Hot Brand” Award

IMPACT Hot Brand Award Recognizes Barefoot’s Continued Growth and Innovation

MODESTO, Calif.--()--Barefoot, the most awarded wine brand in the United States, has been named a “Hot Brand” for the tenth year in a row by Impact magazine, one of the industry’s leading trade publications. Additionally, Barefoot Bubbly was awarded its third consecutive “Hot Brand” award.

Brands which earned a “Hot Brand” award met the following criteria:

  • Maintained double-digit growth in each of the past three years, or were an established brand with at least 15% growth, or were a Top-10 brand with at least 5% growth in 2012 and at least 15% growth since 2009
  • Produced a minimum volume of 250,000 cases in 2012

Since joining forces with E. & J. Gallo Winery in 2005, Barefoot has grown to be one of the world’s most recognizable brands and has earned more than 2,500 awards.

Barefoot continues to demonstrate its innovation and creativity through new offerings like Barefoot Refresh, Barefoot Impression Red Blend and Barefoot Bubbly Red Moscato.

Barefoot Refresh, which has already won legions of fans, has filled a previously unmet need in the marketplace for a refreshing wine. Barefoot Impression Red Blend combines a great wine with community outreach, bringing a cause-driven campaign to life through product and packaging. And, Barefoot Bubbly Red Moscato was introduced following the resounding success of Barefoot Bubbly Pink Moscato, which became Barefoot Bubbly’s top seller in just one year.

Barefoot was one of only 27 domestic brands to achieve Hot Brand status in 2012, with a steady 13% growth rate[1]. Barefoot Bubbly saw a remarkable 33% growth rate the same year[2], contributing to its third sequential Hot Brand award.

Barefoot's still wine portfolio includes 15 offerings and is available for a suggested retail price of $7 for 750-ml bottles, $12 for 1.5-liter bottles.
