The firm also announced the appointment of John Convery as a Managing Director and Head of European Investment Banking and Paul Levy as a Managing Director, where they will play key roles in GreensLedge’s expansion into Europe and in the build-out of its capital markets advisory and transaction execution capabilities from the firm's London office. Mr. Convery joins from Deutsche Bank where he was a Managing Director and Head of the Global CDO business overseeing origination, structuring and distribution, serving institutional relationships worldwide. Mr. Levy joins from UBS where he was a Managing Director and Co-Head of EMEA FICC Structuring working across asset classes to provide clients with bespoke investment and financing solutions. Mr. Convery and Mr. Levy have both built an extensive network of relationships in Europe, the US and Asia across leading corporations, banks, asset managers, hedge funds and private equity funds through their work in the global structured product markets.

Mr. Convery has over 23 years of investment banking and business development experience focused on the structured finance markets. Over the course of his career, he has advised some of the largest alternative asset management organizations as well as global financial institutions on critical strategic matters, including numerous capital markets transactions. Prior to running the Global CDO Business at Deutsche Bank, he worked at UBS as a lead structurer for the Special Situations Group. In that role, he was responsible for overseeing a team that originated, structured and distributed structured credit transactions including Credit Tenant Lease private placements, bank regulatory capital relief offerings, CLOs and CDOs, all of which were placed with institutional investors. Previously, he worked as a Public Finance banker for Dillon Read, where he was responsible for the structuring of complex credit arbitrage transactions for large municipal issuance programs.
Mr. Levy has over 12 years of investment banking and derivative product development experience. Over the course of his career he has been responsible for developing a number of milestone transactions in the structured credit markets and worked with some of the largest global credit and alternative asset managers on numerous public and private capital markets transactions. Prior to co-running EMEA FICC Structuring at UBS, he was a Partner at Prytania Investment Advisors where he provided credit portfolio advisory services to financial institutions and previously ran Exotic Credit Structuring for Merrill Lynch focused on Europe, the Middle East and Asia.
