SCOTTSDALE, Ariz.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Matrix Medical Network, a national leader in prospective medical assessment services, announced today that Humana Inc. (NYSE: HUM), one of the nation’s leading health and well-being companies, has signed a multi-year contract with Matrix to provide prospective medical assessments to Humana Medicare Advantage health plan members. Humana offers a broad range of cost-effective Medicare Advantage (MA) medical plans and Medicare Prescription Drug Plans (PDP).
Matrix provides prospective medical assessments through its nationwide network of employee nurse practitioners. Under the terms of the contract with Humana, Matrix nurse practitioners will conduct assessments of member health status for Humana either in a member’s home or at a nursing facility. These assessments will assist Humana in providing its members with additional, high quality information and health education services.
