NYSE Euronext To Acquire Corpedia Corporation

Corporate Governance, Risk & Compliance Leader Will Accelerate the Growth of NYSE’s Services Suite for its Issuer Community

NEW YORK--()--NYSE Euronext (NYX) announced today that it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Corpedia Corporation (Corpedia), a leading global provider of ethics and compliance e-learning and consultative services. With its corporate governance, risk and compliance (GRC) assets, Corpedia will further expand the New York Stock Exchange’s (NYSE) extensive range of global services available to its issuer community. The transaction is expected to close in June 2012. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.

A leading provider in the GRC advisory and eLearning market, Corpedia serves more than 500 customers across all industry sectors including approximately 25% of Fortune 500 companies. Corpedia’s data-centric value-added services extend to mobile eLearning and executive and board training, and the company owns extensive benchmarking data on more than 2,000 corporate compliance programs and anti-corruption program data for 1,700 companies. Corpedia advisory services include compliance diagnostics, risk assessment, curriculum mapping and peer benchmarking. Its eLearning courseware features foundational courses, focus courses, shorts and clips with materials delivered on a proprietary customizable learning management system platform embedded into clients’ workflow.
