CHATSWORTH, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Image Entertainment, Inc. (OTCQB: DISK) has just signed a long-term agreement with Lakeshore Entertainment to distribute their catalog in North America. The agreement covers Blu-ray™/DVD, VOD and digital rights and was announced today by Ted Green, Chairman and CEO for Image Entertainment.

The Lakeshore Entertainment library consists of the former New World library, most of which has never been released on Blu-ray™. Headliners include Heathers starring Winona Ryder and Christian Slater, Girls Just Want to Have Fun featuring Sarah Jessica Parker and Helen Hunt, George Burns in 18 Again! and Soul Man with C. Thomas Howell. Horror classics such as Children of the Corn, Hellraiser, Creepshow 2 and Return to Horror High are also included in the agreement. Over 40 episodes of TV’s “Crime Story” starring Dennis Farina are in the package, as well as the 80’s cult comedy show “Sledge Hammer!”
