PARIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--IXIS Asset Management Group has changed its name to Natixis Global Asset Management to align its brand with that of its parent company, Natixis. Natixis was formed in November, 2006 when the Groupe Caisse d’Epargne and Groupe Banque Populaire combined their asset management, investment banking, project finance and other banking service businesses.
The firm’s distribution organization, formerly IXIS Asset Management Global Associates, will become Natixis Global Associates. Its businesses in Australia, Asia, Germany, Italy, Japan, the Middle East and the United Kingdom will also adopt the Natixis name. The firm’s family of U.S.-distributed load mutual funds, IXIS Advisor Funds, will be renamed Natixis Funds. Its Luxembourg- and Dublin-domiciled funds, IXIS International Funds, will become Natixis International Funds.
Natixis Global Asset Management’s 12 U.S.-based investment management affiliates will retain their brand names, investment independence and operating autonomy. In France, the firm’s principal investment management affiliate has changed its name to Natixis Asset Management.
