SAN DIEGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--PacketVideo Corporation, a pioneer and continued innovator in multimedia software for mobile phones, is seeking to accelerate the convergence of mobile phones and consumer electronics with the acquisition of Berlin-based TwonkyVision GmbH and its line of software products including its DLNA CERTIFIED™ Media Server product, TwonkyMedia server.

According to the company, this acquisition strengthens PacketVideo’s multimedia technology leadership and further implements the company’s vision for how, when and where consumers can access media.
