Tenants can either lease or license space within the facility, and are granted unrestricted rights to link with other telecommunications carriers, providers or tenants licensed to operate and interconnect within the 1275 K Street NW Meet Me Room.
"Our business model is to provide fast (within 48 hours) cross-connects and service provisioning to telecommunications companies that communicate locally, regionally and globally," said Jonathan Litvany, vice president of colocation at CRG West. "Since we don't sell bandwidth, nor preferred supplier relationships with specific carriers, all customers are treated equally -- with the highest possible priority. As a neutral facility operator, CRG West can help facilitate rapid interconnections between customers and tenants, without the burden of bureaucratic and lengthy provisioning cycles. CRG West provides interconnections and colocation provisioning quickly and efficiently at 1275 K Street using the same methods and procedures employed at One Wilshire (in Los Angeles) and Market Post Tower (in San Jose, Calif.)."
The 1275 K Street Meet Me Room offers cages and cabinets to tenants in a fully secure, monitored and environmentally controlled data center. The 1275 K Street Meet Me Room focuses on providing participants with the ability to execute low cost, fast turn around cross-connects between carriers and customers within the building. CRG West provisions and installs all cross connections and intra-building connections within its 83,000 square feet colocation and telecom tenant space.
"CRG West's new Meet Me Room allows us to align our priorities with the best interests of our tenants -- large or small," Litvany said. "That's an important distinction in an industry accustomed to playing favorites."
