Boeing Selects B/E Aerospace's ''Pulse Oxygen'' System to Outfit All 787 Dreamliners

WELLINGTON, Fla.--()--May 18, 2005--B/E Aerospace, Inc. (Nasdaq:BEAV), the world's leading manufacturer of aircraft cabin interior products and a leading aftermarket distributor of aerospace fasteners, announced that Boeing has selected B/E to provide its next generation passenger oxygen system for Boeing's new 787 Dreamliner aircraft.

The Boeing 787 will be the first aircraft equipped with a passenger oxygen system using B/E's advanced "Pulse Oxygen" technology. The Pulse Oxygen system delivers oxygen more efficiently than traditional passenger systems, and reduces overall system weight and fuel burn. The Pulse Oxygen system also facilitates lower maintenance and cabin reconfiguration costs, when compared to traditional oxygen systems.

"Innovation is essential for super efficient operating results in a highly advanced aircraft like the 787 Dreamliner," said Mike Bair, Vice President and General Manager of the 787 program. "B/E's leading-edge oxygen technology supports our objectives for lower weight and flexible systems to provide the operating economics required by the airlines."

"B/E is pleased to launch this exciting new technology on Boeing's 787 Dreamliner," said Robert Khoury, President and CEO of B/E Aerospace. "Pulse Oxygen is the technology of the future and will fundamentally change the way aircraft oxygen systems are designed. Our investment in new product development over the past several years continues to yield market success."

The first Pulse Oxygen system deliveries are scheduled for late 2007.
