BindView Expands Training Suite with Customized e-Learning

HOUSTON--()--Dec. 7, 2004--Expanding its global training and education services, BindView Corp. (Nasdaq:BVEW) today announced the availability of new e-learning capabilities for customers and partners that complement current instructor-led training. Organizations are now able to access BindView e-learning courses 24-hours-a-day, seven-days-a-week, anywhere there is Internet access. As an added benefit, participants earn Continuing Professional Education (CPE) credits with successful completion of course work.

To develop the e-learning classes, BindView has formed a partnership with Synergistx, a global leader in Internet-based learning management systems. Using proven learning methodologies, courses are designed to provide innovative and effective Web-enabled classes offering organizations enhanced knowledge of BindView products and increased ROI from BindView solutions.

"BindView and Synergistx have developed a complete, scalable, e-learning solution to meet the most pressing needs of our customers and partners, at the same time balancing the demands of busy schedules."

The move toward e-learning is quickly becoming more commonplace as customers look to the convenience and cost-savings of Web-enabled training. For beginner courses and intermediate-level training, e-learning has proven to be one of the most effective and cost-efficient methods. Coupled with instructor-led sessions for more in-depth training, e-learning provides the convenience of access to courses at any hour of the day, in the office or at home.

"Synergistx courses offer customized, high-impact learning events that allow participants to learn in a 'step-in, step-out' continuous learning model.
