|Dow Jones Commodities Solutions Subscribers Will Receive Meteorlogix's Agriculture-Focused News, Information and Forecasts|
Minneapolis-based Meteorlogix, DTN's brand of commercial weather services, today announced a three-year agreement to provide Dow Jones Newswires with global, crop-specific weather forecasts and weather-related agricultural news and information for select Dow Jones Newswire customers, which include Dow Jones Commodities Service, AgriWire, and Commodities Basic Service. Dow Jones Newswires will begin providing Meteorlogix's coverage to its commodities subscribers on Oct. 2, 2004.
Under the terms of the agreement, Meteorlogix will provide to Dow Jones global coverage of all agricultural commodities, including corn, wheat, grains, soybeans, rice, coffee and cotton. The commodity-specific coverage will consist of daily, updated articles by region and by crop, as well as early-morning and midmorning synopses of world-wide weather conditions affecting commodities.
