|New Professional Series(TM) Ionic Breeze(R) Quadra(R) and Ionic Breeze GP(R) Offer Significantly Faster Air-Cleaning Speed|
Sharper Image Corporation (Nasdaq:SHRP) today announced the successful launch of the newest generation of its top-selling silent air purifiers, the revolutionary Professional Series(TM) Ionic Breeze Quadra(R) and Ionic Breeze GP(R) (Germicidal Protection) Air Purifiers.
The all new Professional Series(TM) Ionic Breeze Quadra and Ionic Breeze GP represent the culmination of years of effort by Sharper Image engineers to enhance America's most popular and trusted brand of silent air cleaner. Created by the Sharper Image Design product-development team, these sleek, attractive and silent air purifiers trap airborne allergens and irritants, including pollen, dander, tobacco, smoke and dust. Patented Zenion Effect(TM) electronic propulsion circulates air like a fan but in total silence; and pollutants are trapped on permanent stainless steel collectors, so there are no filters to replace, ever. These low-impact air cleaners require very little power to operate 24 hours a day; energy needed at the highest settings ranges from 12 to 36 watts.
The new Professional Series models feature a revolutionary 3 + 2 collection blade system providing significantly faster cleaning and an enhanced particle capture rate. The patent-pending design also includes removable front and rear grills that make it easy to keep these attractive air cleaners looking good as new; a Negative Ion feature for fresher air flow; and a five-minute fast-clean boost for extra cleaning power and odor removal. In addition, power safe controls ensure that settings are restored when power is restored after unplugging or an unexpected power outage.
The Professional Series Ionic Breeze Quadra and Ionic Breeze GP are endorsed by the authoritative British Allergy Foundation and bear the Seal of the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America.
"Our new Professional Series models have been well received since we introduced them in late August," said Richard Thalheimer founder, chairman and chief executive officer. "These unique air cleaners offer a greatly improved particle capture rate and many other attractive new features -- building on Ionic Breeze's stature as America's most trusted major brand of air cleaner (according to an ACNielsen national survey) and the country's best selling room air purifier. We continue to lead the way in providing innovative and useful products that meet the lifestyle needs of a growing consumer base," concluded Mr. Thalheimer.
