FrontBridge Acquires MessageRite Inc.; Adds Managed Service for Email and Instant Messaging Archiving

(Irvine, Calif.), broadening the company's service portfolio to include email and instant message archiving for regulatory compliance, legal discovery and business continuity. The acquisition adds market leading technology for electronic message archiving to FrontBridge's broad service portfolio for inbox management that includes perimeter-based spam filtering, virus scanning, secure email, policy enforcement and disaster recovery.

Compliance regulations affecting many industries, such as SEC 17a-4, NASD 3010, and Sarbanes-Oxley, require that electronic business communications, including email and IM traffic, be preserved and produced upon demand to various regulatory agencies.
