Enclavix(TM), LLC today announced that its President and CEO, Nicole Toomey Davis, was recently selected as one of the top entrepreneurs in Utah by the v-100. Sponsored by vSpring Capital, the vSpring Capital Top 100 Venture Entrepreneurs, or the v-100, is a peer-selected community of elite entrepreneurs and individuals with significant ties to the state of Utah. It was designed to survey the Utah business community and identify which executives would most likely play an active role in building and growing successful technology or biotechnology companies in the next 5-7 years.
"The v-100 is an extraordinary group of business leaders who are being recognized by their peers in the business community," said Greg Warnock, managing director of vSpring Capital. "As a result, the v-100 represents individual business excellence in a unique way. Most importantly, its members are being recognized on the premise that their peers believe they will continue to be the leaders and innovators of the technology and biotechnology industries throughout the coming years."
Based in Draper, Enclavix is focused on delivering software solutions aimed at helping consumers organize and manage all types of digital content, such as music, photos, and video. Enclavix is the second company co-founded and led by Ms. Davis, who sold her first company DoBox to Netopia in 2002.
"It is an honor to be acknowledged by my colleagues in the Utah entrepreneurial community," explained Nicole Toomey Davis, Enclavix's President and CEO. "Utah has an extremely vibrant business environment, especially in the areas of technology and biotechnology. These companies have collectively raised more than $1.8 billion in capital and created more than 7,000 jobs. I am proud that Enclavix has been considered as one of the innovative companies to watch."
About The v-100
In late 2003, vSpring Capital asked leading members of the Utah business community to nominate the top 100 venture entrepreneurs based upon the following criteria:
-- Individuals most likely to lead a successful venture in the next 5-7 years in the Information Technology or Biotech industries
-- Individuals who could be the CEO/CTO of a new venture
-- Individuals with ties to the region (but not required to be Utah residents)
Those entrepreneurs nominated were then contacted by vSpring and asked to participate in a confidential online survey to vote for the top 10 individuals each nominee felt would be the most likely to meet the same criteria, with the final tally generating the v-100.
