Tyfast Energy Corp. & AIion Energy Systems Inc. MOU

Tyfast Energy Corp. and AIion™ Energy Systems Inc. Sign Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to Scale Lithium Vanadium Oxide (LVO) Battery Technology for Defense, Industrial, and Data Center Power

SAN DIEGO & ENGLEWOOD, Colo.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Tyfast Energy Corp., a battery technology company developing patented lithium vanadium oxide (LVO) anode technology, and AIion™ Energy Systems Inc., through its wholly owned subsidiary ADA Technologies, LLC, today announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to advance U.S.-based manufacturing of LVO-enabled lithium batteries for high-power, fast-charge, and safety-critical applications.

The collaboration combines Tyfast's proprietary LVO anode with AIion/ADA's pouch-cell manufacturing capabilities, creating a domestic battery supply-chain pathway built around U.S.-developed intellectual property, materials innovation, and cell manufacturing.

“LVO is built for applications where batteries need to charge faster, operate harder, and remain safer than conventional lithium-ion systems,” said GJ la O', CEO of Tyfast. “By working with AIion and ADA, we are connecting Tyfast's anode innovation with a U.S.-based manufacturing pathway that can move LVO from promising chemistry to customer-ready cells.”

Under the MOU, Tyfast and AIion will work to integrate Tyfast's LVO anode into AIion/ADA pouch-cell manufacturing workflows; build and test prototype cells; optimize electrode and cell processes for repeatability and scale; and prepare for pilot-scale production and customer validation programs.

“We see LVO as one of the most compelling next‑generation anode materials,” said Russ Farmer, President of AIion™ Energy Systems. “Our manufacturing expertise is a natural complement to Tyfast’s material innovation, and this MOU formalizes our shared commitment to accelerate commercialization.”

The companies intend to jointly pursue commercial, government, and strategic‑partner opportunities where LVO‑based batteries can offer differentiated performance, including fast‑charge industrial systems, defense applications, grid‑support assets, UPS and reserve batteries for data centers, and high‑power mobility platforms.

This MOU represents a significant step toward establishing a domestically produced, high‑performance lithium-ion battery that leverages U.S.‑based intellectual property, materials development, and manufacturing capabilities.
