Full-Court Finance: Possible and Orlando Magic Deliver Landmark Financial Education Event for Orlando Community
Free event at Kia Center draws Orlando families for hands-on financial education, reinforcing Possible’s commitment to closing the credit knowledge gap.
ORLANDO, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Possible, the mission-driven fintech building financial health solutions for underserved communities, today celebrated the success of Full-Court Finance, a first-of-its-kind community financial education event held on March 29, 2026 at the iconic Kia Center in partnership with the Orlando Magic, United Against Poverty Orlando, and New Image Youth Center.
The event brought together Orlando families, Possible customers, and nonprofit partners for free, hands-on financial education led by Possible Chief Credit Officer Ellen Falbo. Sessions covering Credit 101 and Budgeting 101 filled the room with engaged attendees eager to learn practical money skills — from understanding credit scores to building sustainable household budgets.
While parents participated in financial education sessions, their children enjoyed the Orlando Magic’s practice court at the Kia Center, as free youth basketball clinics, drills, games, and activities for children as young as three kept kids energized throughout the day. Magic Community Ambassador Bo Outlaw was on-site, connecting with families and reinforcing the Magic’s deep roots in the Orlando community.
“The Orlando community came ready to learn, ready to ask hard questions, and ready to take control of their financial futures. That’s exactly what Full-Court Finance was built to do,” said Ellen Falbo, Chief Credit Officer, Possible.
The event underscored a core belief at Possible: that financial literacy isn’t a luxury, but a right. Possible Finance serves over 13,000 members of the greater Orlando community and has saved Florida residents roughly $19M in fees in 2025 alone, by offering extended payment terms and charging no junk fees. To date, Possible has served millions of Americans, saving over $650M in fees nationwide. (Possible uses fee and payday loan usage information from the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, Center for Responsible Lending, Pew Charitable Trusts, and the Consumer Federation of America to arrive at our Fees Saved Calculation. Savings based on the maximum fees Possible could have charged customers over the typical payday loan term, including late fees, insufficient funds fees, etc. Results will vary.)
“We talk a lot about systemic inequity in financial services, but talk only gets you so far. Full-Court Finance was about showing up, in person, and giving people real tools they can use today. Partnering with the Magic let us do that at a scale that genuinely matters for Orlando families,” said Tony Huang, CEO and Co-Founder, Possible.
