Museum of Science Nominated for Two Webby Awards

Fans can vote for the Museum to win at vote.webbyawards.com until Thursday, April 16

BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The Museum of Science, Boston has been nominated for two honors in the 30th Annual Webby Awards, recognizing the institution’s leadership in bringing science, technology, and creativity to digital platforms. Hailed as the “Internet’s highest honor,” the Webby Awards, presented by the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences (IADAS), celebrate excellence on the Internet.

Fans are encouraged to support the Museum’s innovative storytelling by casting their vote before April 16, 2026, at vote.webbyawards.com.

This year, the Museum earned nominations in two categories:

  • Apps, Software & Immersive | Remixed: The Unexpected Side of Science: Nominated for Best Immersive Content in Science & Education, this original planetarium film, produced in partnership with Dope Labs led by Zakiya Whatley and Titi Shodiya, blends music, visual motion, and scientific storytelling to uncover the unexpected connections between art and science. Visitors can experience the show in-person or learn more at mos.org/remixed.
  • Social | Physics in Rob Gronkowski’s Spike: Nominated for Best Social Video – Short Form in Education & Science, this energetic short-form video features former New England Patriot Rob Gronkowski in a playful physics demonstration. Available to watch on Instagram, the video explores the science behind Gronk’s iconic spike and continues the Museum’s tradition of making STEM engaging, surprising, and fun for all ages.

Winners will be announced on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, and celebrated in a star-studded ceremony in New York City later this spring.
