SkyHope Names Aviation Nonprofit Leader Josh Olson as Director of Development and Marketing

FARMINGDALE, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--SkyHope, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that organizes free flights for patients who need to travel to access medical care through a network of volunteer pilots, is pleased to announce Josh Olson as its new Director of Development and Marketing. Josh most recently served as Principal Officer of Institutional Giving at the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA) Foundation. Prior to his role at AOPA, Josh spent 21 years with Angel Flight West (AFW), including 11 years as Executive Director, where he led AFW through a period of significant growth, increasing annual missions by 60%, boosting the volunteer pilot base by 70%, and doubling fundraising revenue. At AOPA, he led foundation and corporate fundraising for aviation education and workforce development initiatives.
