Oliver Wyman appoints Helen Leis as Global Head of Leadership and Change

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oliver Wyman, a global leader in management consulting and a business of Marsh (NYSE: MRSH), today announced Helen Leis as Global Head of Leadership and Change, a newly created role focused on guiding clients through uncertainty and complex transformations. Ms. Leis will take on the position in addition to continuing as Co-Head of M&A Americas.

Organizations today are navigating a period of rapid and often unpredictable change – from new technologies and shifting economic conditions to evolving workforce expectations. In this environment, leaders must be able to adapt quickly, align their organizations around new priorities, and translate strategy into sustained action. Oliver Wyman’s Leadership and Change work helps organizations build the operating models and leadership skills needed to navigate this complexity and turn disruption into opportunity.

“This role is key to advancing the firm’s long-term efforts to embed transformative leadership and change management capabilities across all our work, driving greater alignment, collaboration and impact,” said Nick Studer, President and CEO of Oliver Wyman. “Helen brings an outstanding combination of expertise, leadership, and empathy to help clients overcome some of the toughest challenges in business."

Ms. Leis has more than 30 years of experience advising organizations on complex transformation, integration, and change programs across industries. In her new role, Ms. Leis will work across practices, assessing where leadership and change challenges are likely to arise and helping clients develop pragmatic strategies and tools to help them thrive.

“I’ve spent three decades working with leaders navigating mergers, crises, and cultural overhauls. Every transformation tests the limits of an organization – but it also tests the limits of its leadership,” says Ms. Leis. “The leaders who succeed aren’t those who avoid that tension, but those who use it to help their organizations grow. When that happens, change stops being disruptive, and starts becoming a source of strength."
