Ethos Capital Formalizes Office of Value Creation, Building Upon its Results Driven, Operator-Led Model for Private Market Investing

Drawing on its experience of driving value, new function led by Partners with Fortune 100 C-suite experience to deliver portfolio performance.

BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Ethos Capital, an alternative asset manager with approximately $5 billion in AUM, announced the formal establishment of its Office of Value Creation. This marks the culmination of years of learning, refinement, and execution of a differentiated approach to investing, one that integrates deep operating experience with disciplined investment acumen and reinforces the Firm's commitment to partnering with portfolio companies to drive long-term growth.

In support of this commitment, Ethos appointed Partner Stephen Gold as Chief Value Creation Officer, responsible for leading firmwide portfolio execution and value creation efforts. In this role, Gold will lead the Firm’s Acceleration Vector (AV) Methodology, a disciplined framework designed to identify, prioritize, execute, and track value creation initiatives across its portfolio of companies.

“Stephen’s appointment reflects our belief that performance improvement must be intentional, repeatable, and accountable,” said Brent Stone, Managing Partner. “Our team of 19 Partners, from numerous Fortune 100 companies, brings practical, real-world insight to everything we do at Ethos.” Through its approach, the Firm applies analytical and operational rigor to identifying, prioritizing, and quantifying opportunities to accelerate business results.

To support this high-touch approach, Ethos intentionally maintains a concentrated portfolio, enabling Partners to dedicate the time, focus, and resources required to drive meaningful and sustainable operating improvements at each company.

“Our model is intentionally different,” said Fadi Chehadé, Managing Partner. “We invest where we have real operating experience, remain deeply engaged, and focus on building enduring businesses. We believe superior performance is achieved through disciplined execution and long-term partnership, not short-term solutions.”
