Sterlington Ranks Among Top US and Global Leaders in Private Equity M&A Exits

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sterlington is ranked third among law firms advising US targets and sellers in private equity M&A exit transactions, as well as 6th in the equivalent global rankings, in Mergermarket’s FY2025 league tables. This is up from 8th in the US and 24th globally for 2024.

This result places Sterlington among a small group of top firms working on the largest and most complex private equity M&A exit transactions in the market. The firm regularly advises founders and management teams on high-stakes M&A and liquidity events.

“Sterlington is operating at the top of the market, across from the best firms in the world,” said Managing Partner Christopher S. Harrison. “Mergermarket’s 2025 rankings reflect the scale and sophistication of the transactions we advise on and the exceptional quality of our work.”

The full Mergermarket FY2025 Sponsored Advisory Rankings are below. The rankings follow Sterlington’s involvement in the TMT Finance Deal of the Year award, which recognized the firm’s role advising the management team of Vantage Data Centers on a $9.2 billion equity investment.
