Factor Launches “Protein Power-Up Shop” to Help Americans Defeat the Quitter’s Day Slump

  • The Protein Power-Up Shop launches ahead of Quitter’s Day to help consumers fuel their 2026 health goals with dietitian-designed, ready-to-eat meals
  • New data shows more than half of Americans struggle to get enough protein at lunch, fueling afternoon productivity drops and many rely on social media for their protein intake info
  • The multi-city pop-up invites consumers to swap lackluster lunches for a Resolution Recharge, expert dietitian guidance, and a chance to win a year of free Factor meals

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--To combat the drop-off in New Year’s resolutions by mid-January, Factor, America’s #1 ready-to-eat meal delivery service, is launching the Factor Protein Power-Up Shop, a multi-city, high-protein pop-up series kicking off in New York City on January 8, 2026.

Timed to National Quitter’s Day, the interactive in-person experience brings chef-crafted, dietitian-designed meals directly to commuters during the lunch hour, helping bridge the growing “Protein Gap” for the 74% of Americans who say they would be more likely to eat protein if there were more convenient options available to include in their meals.

The initiative empowers consumers in New York City, Austin, and Chicago to reset healthy eating habits through high-protein meal swaps, expert dietitian consultations, and interactive wellness tools. While over half of Americans (54%) have a goal to eat healthier in 2026, and half of those who do (54%) say they plan to achieve this by increasing their protein intake, only 38% of Americans say they actively track their protein intake—highlighting a gap in the structure needed to sustain real change. With a high-protein menu of chef-crafted, dietitian-designed meals, Factor makes it easy to support energy, focus, and long-term success.

“At Factor, we believe high-quality nutrition should be the foundation of every goal, not a hurdle to overcome,” said Adam Park, CEO of Factor. “The Protein Power-Up Shop is designed to help people stick to their resolutions by cutting through the noise of viral social media hacks and questionable sources. It replaces the ‘shame spiral’ with science-backed, chef-crafted meals that make fresh, high-protein nutrition the easiest choice of the day.”
