TEAM Concept Printing is First US Recipient of a FUJIFILM Global Innovation Print Award

The Chicago-based commercial printer’s unique design and artful execution earns it top praise in the Direct Mails category

HANOVER PARK, Ill.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--FUJIFILM North America Corporation, Business Innovation Division, announced that Chicago-based TEAM Concept Printing has won a 2025 Innovation Print Award (IPA) in the Direct Mails category. TEAM Concept Printing has pushed the boundaries of their craft and showcased their unique creativity and technical expertise in execution by using Fujifilm's extensive portfolio of printing technologies. This marks the first US-based company to receive this global recognition in the 15-year history of the international competition.

The award-winning print was a highly intricate direct mail piece created for the Brookfield Zoo’s Whirl Annual Gala, a fundraising event that successfully raised a record-breaking $2 million in funds for the zoo’s animal care and conservation efforts. To achieve the premium, high-impact aesthetic required for the gala’s key fundraising materials, TEAM Concept Printing utilized the advanced capabilities of the FUJIFILM REVORIA PRESS™ PC1120.

The winning entry combined cutting-edge digital production with traditional finishing craftsmanship. The piece was printed and finished on specialty 25x35 paper, followed by precise die-cutting and scoring. Due to the complex nature of the design and cuts, each final mailer required hand-folding, underscoring the boutique quality and attention to detail that secured the win.

“We are absolutely thrilled and incredibly proud to be the first American printing company to receive a Global Innovation Print Award,” said Vince Manini, Partner, TEAM Concept Printing. “The REVORIA PRESS PC1120 has been truly game-changing for our production floor, giving us the incredible ability to deliver high-impact, boutique-quality finishes with exceptional consistency and color fidelity at scale. Our entire team, and especially our customers, appreciate the premium quality and value this relationship with Fujifilm brings to our projects - big or small.”

“TEAM Concept Printing’s winning entry showcases the immense creativity and technical execution possible in modern direct mail,” said Yuji Oki, general manager, FUJIFILM North America Corporation, Business Innovation Division. “It’s an honor to recognize this work. It perfectly demonstrates how next-generation digital printing technology can drive both artistic vision and real-world results, in this case - the vital efforts at the Brookfield Zoo.”

The Global Innovation Print Awards, hosted by Fujifilm, celebrate creativity and excellence in print applications across diverse categories, recognizing clients who reimagine the bounds digital print technology and advance their craft.
