Outside Interactive Appoints Christopher Jerard as Chief Brand Officer, Hires Former Roblox VP as General Manager, Mapping

BOULDER, Colo.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Outside Interactive, Inc. today announced two key leadership appointments that will strengthen its position as the premier destination for outdoor inspiration, activation, and celebration.

Christopher ‘CJ’ Jerard has been named Chief Brand Officer, building on three decades in outdoor media and his recent leadership as Chief Experience Officer. Jerard previously founded several outdoor media and creative companies before joining Outside, where he helped launch Outside Days, the company’s growing SXSW-style gathering rooted in outdoor culture, community, and creative expression. Jerard will report to Chief Media Officer Heather Dietrick as a key member of the company's executive team.

Under Jerard’s leadership, Outside will unify Experiential, Communications, Brand Creative, and the Outside Creator Network into a single Brand and Experiential organization. This structure leverages the trusted storytelling authority of brands such as Outside Magazine, the long-standing community tradition of the Warren Miller film tour, and the growing cultural momentum of Outside Days. The alignment underscores the company’s commitment to strengthening brand consistency across its portfolio and ensuring a cohesive, authentic experience wherever audiences engage with Outside.

Claus Moberg joined Outside Interactive on December 1, 2025, as General Manager, Mapping, reporting to Lauren Berolini, Chief Business Officer, Consumer Apps. In this role, Moberg will lead the company's mapping division, own the P&L, and define the integration and go-to-market strategy for Gaia GPS, Trailforks, and MapMyFitness to serve users and drive growth through subscription and membership models.

Moberg brings 15 years of experience building innovative consumer technology products and scaling high-performing teams. He most recently served as Vice President of Engineering at Roblox, where he grew the consumer app team from eight people to several hundred engineers, product managers, designers, and data scientists during his nine-year tenure. At Roblox, he also led the creation of Luobu, Roblox's joint venture with Tencent to launch the platform in mainland China. Prior to Roblox, Moberg founded and served as CEO of SnowShoe, a physical/digital smartphone transaction authentication technology company.
