Held within the emerging Cohen Entertainment District, the groundbreaking ceremony drew civic leaders, project partners, media, and community members to celebrate the beginning of what will become one of the most advanced and luxurious amphitheaters in the country. The Sunset Amphitheater is projected to deliver more than $5.4 billion in economic impact in the first decade of operation, fueling job creation, tourism growth, and long-term cultural investment in the region.

Uniquely designed for year-round programming, the multi-configurational venue will feature a canopied roof structure, innovative wind walls, and radiant heating technology to provide optimal comfort and weather protection. VENU plans to program the venue with its omni-approach to programming, which aims to keep venues active and relevant year-round with residencies, theatrical productions, and original in-house shows above and beyond typical live concerts and private rentals.
