Object First Announces 291% Year-Over-Year Increase in Global Bookings in Q3 2025

Rising demand for backup storage with Absolute Immutability drove a 280% increase in customer base and expanded its partner community by 266%

DENVER--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Object First, the best storage for Veeam®, today announced a 291% year-over-year increase in bookings for Q3 2025. The results mark the sixth straight quarter of triple-digit growth, reflecting an increasing global demand for secure, simple, and powerful immutable backup storage as the best defense against ransomware.

Global Adoption of Object First

  • Strong customer adoption of Ootbi (Out-of-the-Box-Immutability), Object First’s immutable backup storage appliance purpose-built for Veeam, continued in Q3, with year-over-year bookings increasing by 248% in the U.S. and Canada, and 447% in EMEA.
  • New appliances—20, 40 and 432 TB units—and a pay-per-use Consumption model introduced in the U.S. in Q2 helped fuel this momentum.
  • In September, Object First expanded its Consumption model to European markets. This flexible model allows customers, resellers, and service providers to choose between a CapEx purchase or a subscription that eliminates upfront investment and hardware refresh costs.

Global Customer and Partner Growth

“Ransomware poses an existential threat to every organization’s revenue, reputation, and future viability,” said David Bennett, CEO, Object First. “Immutable storage is the best defense. Veeam users turn to Object First for an easy-to-use, ransomware-proof solution that’s simple, secure, and resilient, allowing them to recover faster when disaster strikes. Our continued growth throughout 2025 shows that we are on the right track – providing customers with resilient products and flexible purchasing options to serve their growing data security needs.”

Industry Accolades
Object First was recognized multiple times by The Channel Company.
