Mo Lovett Law Founder Mary-Olga ‘Mo’ Lovett Earns Certification in International and Domestic Commercial Arbitration

Certification provides clients additional dispute resolution options

HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Mo Lovett Law is pleased to announce that firm founder Mary-Olga “Mo” Lovett has earned certification in international and domestic commercial arbitration from the A.A. White Center for Dispute Resolution at the University of Houston.

The certification will allow the firm to provide additional options for clients facing complex or high-stakes disputes on a local, national or global scale.

A seasoned litigator, Ms. Lovett has more than 30 years of experience handling complex disputes in the courtroom in cases involving patent infringement, trademark infringement, theft of trade secrets, commercial disputes, class actions, employment litigation and product liability matters. She has tried to verdict more than 50 jury cases with more than $100 billion combined at stake.

“This certification is a milestone for me. Less than a year ago when I launched this firm, it was a goal to add arbitration to the list of ways we can help our clients,” said Ms. Lovett. “In my many years as a trial lawyer, I am proud to have been able to help my clients resolve very difficult and high-stakes problems. This is another way I can do that.”

2025 has been a landmark year for Ms. Lovett. In addition to launching Mo Lovett Law in January, she received the Texas Legal Awards’ Lifetime Achievement award in September, followed by a second Lifetime Achievement honor as part of ALM | Law.com’s 2025 Women, Influence & Power in Law Awards in October.

Ms. Lovett’s work has also been recognized by the prestigious Chambers USA, Texas Super Lawyers, Lawdragon 500 Leading Litigators in America, and Lawdragon 500 Global IP Lawyers.
