Inspired by Google’s fifth-generation Project Deschutes CDU, Boyd's ROL4000-48U65 in-row liquid-to-liquid coolant distribution unit cools high density data center installations that leverage the latest AI processors. The CDU reduces facility cooling requirements and boosts energy efficiency by providing 2 MW of cooling at a 3°C approach temperature. The ROL4000 supplies up to 80 PSI of available pressure to drive flow through high-performance liquid cooling loops, control valves, and other components, ideal for next-generation technology cooling system (TCS) loops. Boyd’s ROL4000 maximizes uptime, reduces maintenance requirements, and extends product lifetimes, supported by seal-less N+1 pumps, fully redundant power feeds for each pump circuit, and 0.2 micron side stream filtration.

“Boyd’s ROL4000 CDU will accelerate liquid cooled data center deployment,” said Jerry Toth, Boyd Chief Technology Officer. “We’re enabling our hyperscaler, colocation, and enterprise datacenter customers to quickly scale liquid cooling, accelerate time to market, and compete in this AI era.”

Boyd’s ROL4000-48U65 combines next-gen performance and serviceability in a streamlined design backed by Boyd’s global service team with decades of experience commissioning direct-to-chip liquid cooling systems. Boyd produces coolant distribution units at scale in its global manufacturing facilities with regional availability in North America, Europe, and Asia Pacific. Regional availability helps to minimize time-to-market and logistics costs for Boyd customers. Request more information about the ROL4000 here.
