What: Ryder will host the Freedom Drivers Project, a national mobile exhibit developed by TAT (Truckers Against Trafficking), to help employees recognize and respond to signs of human trafficking. The initiative underscores Ryder’s continued commitment to supporting TAT’s mission and educating the transportation industry.
Human trafficking is modern-day slavery and a $150 billion industry worldwide, affecting more than 50 million people. Ryder provides its professional drivers with training to recognize and report signs of human trafficking.
The Freedom Drivers Project is a first-of-its-kind mobile exhibit that uses powerful imagery, survivor stories, and real artifacts from trafficking cases to shed light on this critical issue—and inspire action.
