Back by Popular Demand: Purdys Chocolatier Launches Pop-Ups Across Canada for Third Year in a Row

VANCOUVER, British Columbia--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Beginning Oct 25th, Purdys Chocolatier, Canada’s much-loved chocolate maker, is expanding its footprint with eight new pop-up shops bringing its renowned chocolates to new communities in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Ontario. Reaching more Canadians right in time for the gift-giving season, chocolate lovers in these areas will now be able to shop Purdys Chocolatier even closer to home.

This expansion marks the third consecutive year of Purdys Chocolatier’s successful pop-up shops, following the warmly received locations in Courtenay, BC, Edmonton, AB, St. Catharines, ON, Lloydminster, AB, Regina, SK, and Saskatoon, SK, last year. “We are so fortunate to have such strong connections with customers who love our chocolates, which allows us to expand our pop-up strategy again this year,” says Kriston Dean, VP of Sales and Marketing, Purdys Chocolatier.

Two of the pop-up shops have either recently become or will soon become permanent locations at Driftwood Mall in Courtenay, BC, and Niagara Pen Centre in St. Catharines, ON. Additionally, Purdys Chocolatier is now in Medicine Hat, AB, with a new permanent store.

“We recognize there are regions across Canada where we have yet to establish a physical presence. We combine customer feedback and data from our sales channels to strategically identify locations and opportunities for growth,” says Kriston Dean. “There is much more to come as we continue to strive to deliver connection and joy through our chocolates, both in our retail locations and through digital commerce.”

Dean adds, “There is a clear demand for Canadian gifts this holiday season, and we want to make the best Canadian chocolate gifting option more accessible in more areas of the country.”

The eight locations for these pop-up shops will be:

  • Central City Shopping Centre - Surrey, BC
  • Totem Mall - Fort St. John, BC
  • Brentwood Commons Shopping Centre – Lloydminster, AB
  • Cornerstone Shopping Mall – Okotoks, AB
  • Cornwall Centre – Regina, SK
  • Quinte Mall – Belleville, ON
  • Lansdowne Place – Peterborough, ON
  • Fairview Park Mall – Kitchener, ON

Purdys Chocolatier will operate the pop-ups from late October 2025 to early April 2026, just after Easter.
