The rankings are derived from research and analysis of public data of organizations in the U.S. that meet the minimum standards set by the European Union, widely regarded as the most advanced set of sustainable standards globally. The companies were evaluated and scored on more than 25 parameters, based on greenhouse gas emissions, water usage, waste generation, and sustainability data disclosure and commitments.
