Media Advisory: $30K Grant to Expand Youth Arts Internships in Taos, New Mexico

TAOS, N.M.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The Federal Home Loan Bank of Dallas (FHLB Dallas) and Centinel Bank of Taos will present a $30,000 grant to the Taos Center for the Arts (TCA) to support youth workforce development through the arts. Media is encouraged to attend the ceremonial check presentation at 2:45 p.m. MT, Tuesday, October 14, 2025.

The funds, part of $1.2 million in PGP grants awarded in 2025, will help TCA expand its Inter-Arts Internship Program, which provides paid, hands-on learning opportunities for young people in Taos County. Interns gain real-world experience in arts administration, event production and digital media through a network of 19 local arts and cultural organizations.

The grant is part of FHLB Dallas’ Partnership Grant Program, which matches member contributions at a 5:1 ratio to support community-based nonprofits involved in affordable housing or economic development activities that complement other FHLB Dallas community investment programs. In 2025, 42 community-based organizations received funding.
