The new role signals RSA’s renewed commitment to an accelerated, innovation-led product strategy. As AI-powered threats embolden adversaries, and as organizations grapple with growing identity estates, RSA will accelerate innovation in four key areas that will help organizations address critical security and operational needs:

  • Advanced enterprise passwordless: RSA already delivers the industry’s most complete passwordless solution. RSA will continue innovating in the passwordless space by adding additional security capabilities, broadening passwordless support across the enterprise and incorporating a seamless AI-enhanced user experience.
  • Identity security posture management (ISPM): RSA helps organizations strengthen their identity posture with capabilities that streamline compliance, reduce risks, and automate identity lifecycle functions to ensure least privilege and stop threats before they start. New enhancements will bring additional ISPM features to the RSA® Governance & Lifecycle platform.
  • Highest-assurance identity solutions: RSA is the industry leader in helping government, financial services, healthcare, energy, and other critical infrastructure stay secure, resilient, and operational. RSA will expand and deepen its solutions to ensure essential services remain protected against evolving threats.
  • Leveraging AI for cybersecurity: For more than 20 years, RSA® Risk AI has leveraged machine learning to dynamically assess user risk and automate responses. RSA is adding new solutions that leverage that rich data set along with data from RSA identity and access management (IAM) and identity governance and administration (IGA) solutions, to create new solutions and better outcomes for our customers.

Across each of these areas, RSA will continue to put customers first by delivering high-value, high-assurance solutions.

“Jim is a recognized thought leader in cybersecurity with a proven record of helping security-first organizations across government, financial services, healthcare, energy, and other highly regulated sectors stay secure, resilient, and focused on their missions,” said RSA CEO Greg Nelson. “RSA will continue to be innovation- and product-led, with Jim driving an accelerated roadmap that keeps our customers ahead of evolving threats.”

“RSA secures the organizations that power global markets, save lives, warm homes, and defend nations,” said RSA President, Chief Product and Strategy Officer Jim Taylor. “In a world of dynamic cyber risks and emerging threats, it’s essential that RSA go even faster in innovating new solutions that secure the most secure. I’m looking forward to accelerating our work and delivering even more innovative solutions to our customers.”
