BTIG Deepens Industrials Investment Banking Expertise: Appoints Michael Moen to Lead Minerals, Metals and Mining Coverage

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--BTIG announced today the appointment of Michael Moen as Managing Director and Head of Minerals, Metals and Mining Investment Banking. Mr. Moen’s new role reflects the firm’s commitment to deepening its sector expertise and broadening its services, with the launch of dedicated coverage for this new subsector within the Industrials Investment Banking group.

In addition to Mr. Moen’s background in minerals, metals and mining globally, he has more than 20 years of experience in M&A advisory, financial sponsor engagements, and government advisory. Previously, he held senior positions at Cantor Fitzgerald, Goldman Sachs, CIBC World Markets, and Citigroup. Earlier in his career, Mr. Moen was a Canadian Foreign Service Officer advising the Canadian Government on critical infrastructure and national security matters.

“Mike’s wealth of experience and longstanding industry relationships will be invaluable as we expand our industrials franchise,” said Jon Dever, Head of Investment Banking at BTIG. “His leadership and sector knowledge, especially as we launch coverage of minerals, metals and mining, will further strengthen our ability to deliver tailored solutions to our global client base.”
