Media Advisory: FHLB Dallas and Texas Capital Bank Award $30K to Maestro Entrepreneur Center

SAN ANTONIO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Representatives from the Federal Home Loan Bank of Dallas (FHLB Dallas) and Texas Capital Bank will award $30,000 in grant funds to support technical training for small business owners in San Antonio, Texas.

The funds, which are part of $1.2 million in Partnership Grant Program (PGP) funds awarded through FHLB Dallas members this year, will be awarded to Maestro Entrepreneur Center during a ceremonial check presentation at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 1.

Maestro Entrepreneur Center will use the funding for its Accelerate Your Venture program, which provides in-depth, in-person technical assistance to small business owners in San Antonio. Funds will help fund instructors, training materials and support staff.

The PGP offers a 5:1 match of member contributions—up to $25,000 per member—to support community-based organizations involved in affordable housing or economic development activities that complement other FHLB Dallas community investment programs.
