Trombone Shorty and CeeLo Green Perform at Annual Atlanta AIDS Walk & Music Festival

Internationally acclaimed artist’s will perform at the 34th annual AIDS Walk & Music Festival on September 27, 2025 in Piedmont Park

ATLANTA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Internationally acclaimed trombonist and trumpeter, Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue, will bring the soulful spirit of New Orleans to the Atlanta stage headlining the Annual AIDS Walk Atlanta Music Festival and 5k Run presented by AHF Pharmacy, Wells Fargo and Fed Ex. Trombone Shorty will join CeeLo Green to raise funds for prevention and treatment services and bring greater awareness of the disproportionate impact of HIV/AIDS.

Internationally known as a prodigiously talented musician who masterfully blends various genres while honoring his New Orleans roots, Trombone Shorty is recognized for his energetic and skillful performances, showcasing excellence on both trombone and trumpet. His performances highlight the "modernized fusion of rock and hip-hop with more old school funk and brass" and his stage presence is known for creating "joyful bursts of energy". A five-time Grammy Award-winning singer, songwriter, producer, Atlanta’s own, CeeLo Green is one of the most celebrated pop culture and fashion icons.

AIDS Healthcare Foundation (AHF), the world’s largest nonprofit HIV/AIDS healthcare organization, hosts the event which raises more than $1 million each year for 12 metro-Atlanta-based HIV/AIDS service organizations. The day will start with a 5K walk/run and culminate with a music festival featuring a performance by CeeLo. Past AIDS Walk Atlanta artists have included Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, Monica, Sevyn Streeter, Ashanti, Wale, and Trina.
