CapWealth Adds Christopher Stevens, CFP®, as Executive Vice President and Financial Advisor

Seasoned private banking executive brings depth to high-net-worth team

FRANKLIN, Tenn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--CapWealth, a leading $2 billion RIA, is pleased to announce the addition of Christopher Stevens as Executive Vice President and Financial Advisor. Stevens offers more than 20 years of private banking and portfolio management expertise, with a track record of guiding complex trust accounts and multi-generational wealth strategies. His arrival marks the third senior hire in recent months, underscoring the firm’s continued growth and investment in expanding its advisory team.

Stevens joins CapWealth after spending 15 years with Bank of America’s Private Bank, where he advanced through the firm’s portfolio management ranks and most recently served as a Senior Portfolio Manager. In that role, he worked closely with legacy family relationships and trust accounts, guiding clients through investment strategy, asset allocation, and comprehensive financial planning.

“At CapWealth, we focus on working with high-net-worth and multi-generational families to navigate the complexities of wealth while delivering meaningful outcomes through trusted, long-term guidance,” said Tim Pagliara, Founder and CIO of CapWealth. “As we’ve built out our team to support their growing needs, Chris’s background in managing legacy trust accounts and shaping investment strategy aligns with that mission and will further strengthen the depth of service we provide.”

Stevens’ technical expertise is complemented by a talent for framing macroeconomic trends in ways that help families make confident financial decisions. This perspective deepens his relationships with families and aligns with CapWealth’s focus on delivering long-term strategies. This hire follows Blake Harrison and Dean Shanan's joining CapWealth in June and July, respectively.

“What drew me to CapWealth is its thoughtful, relationship-driven approach to investing, where individual stock selection still plays a meaningful role in building portfolios,” said Stevens. “I’m excited to join a team that shares my passion for engaging with clients, discussing market trends in a practical way, and planning with a long-term perspective.”

A native of Atlanta, Stevens earned his BBA in Finance from Georgia State University.
