ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Representatives from the Federal Home Loan Bank of Dallas (FHLB Dallas) and Homewise will celebrate the awarding of a $30,000 Partnership Grant Program (PGP) award to Street Food Institute at 9:00 a.m. (MT), Friday, September 19, 2025, during a ceremonial check presentation.

Street Food Institute was formed more than a decade ago to help people realize the dream of owning and operating a successful food service business. It offers online courses, hands-on training and access to a commercial kitchen for businesses that include food trucks, catering and other culinary ventures. The PGP grant will support expanded programming, resources and additional community engagement activities, said Tina Garcia-Shams, executive director of the Street Food Institute.

The PGP offers a 5:1 match of member contributions—up to $25,000 per member—to support community-based organizations involved in affordable housing or economic development activities that complement other FHLB Dallas community investment programs. The program is funded annually, with grants distributed through participating FHLB Dallas members.
